Quality matters

If you have travelled with an AITO member in the last 12 months, it would help us maintain and encourage high standards if you would tell us about your holiday.

Every response will contribute to the star rating of an operator on our website, the award for the AITO Travel Company Of The Year and will be entered into a prize draw to win the holiday of your choice to the value of £2,000 from any AITO member company.

Star Ratings explained

Each of our members will receive a 1-5 star rating based on the response and feedback given by their clients on the feedback form on the following page and Quality matters feedback cards received by the AITO office.

To ensure that responses are sufficient to create an accurate rating, stars will only appear if we receive enough responses for that particular tour operator which will amount to 5% of the annual passengers carried or 50 Q card returns.

The stars will reflect a rolling 12 month period of responses to ensure that the star rating is kept up to date with the feedback given.

Where there has not been enough feedback to provide a star rating the comment "Not yet rated" will appear.

Calculations

Stars are awarded according to customer satisfaction as follows:

90% and above 5 stars
Between 85% and 89.99% 4 stars
Between 80% and 84.99% 3 stars
Between 70% and 79.99% 2 stars
Below 70% 1 stars
